MAS Teen Talks
January 13, 2022 @ 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Teen Talk began in March of 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic, as a space for Muslim youth (targeted age: 11+) to virtually gather to gain knowledge, community, and deen.
Teen Talks span from 45 minutes to 1 hour every Thursday at 8:30 PM EST via Zoom.
The program is run by mentors in the community (previously the team consisted of co-leaders that were college-aged and volunteers that were high school students). Each Teen talk session is run by the co-leads or invited speakers and consists of games, activities, and discussion focused on various topics ranging from social justice to seerah to the relevancy of Islam to young youth today.
The goal of this MAS program is to educate Muslim youth on the practices of Islam, guide them towards a Muslim community, and provide youth with the proper resources and information to strengthen their deen.
