MAS Boston is Hiring!

MAS-Boston is embarking on an exciting journey, and we are looking for the right leaders to join us. For the past 10 years, MAS-Boston has successfully managed the affairs of the ISBCC, leading it to become a vibrant Islamic Institution. This resulted in a tremendous benefit to the broader community, and we are grateful to Allah for this journey. In the next phase, MAS Boston plans to shift its focus once again to developing servant leaders: God-conscious activists who are equipped with the knowledge, passion, and skills to serve the Muslim community in Boston and beyond. This tarbiya / development process is MAS’s core competency, and we are committed to focusing on this journey in 2019. With a solid foundation of a committed team, MAS Boston can then continue our journey of building unique projects as we have done for the past 2 decades in Boston.

Core to this approach will be hiring full-time staff who can work with the board, leadership team, members, core volunteers, partners, and the broader community, to develop a new vision for the future, and help lead the implementation.

To this end, MAS-Boston is looking to fill the following positions in the next 3-12 months

A senior leader, reporting to the MAS-Boston Board, and leading a team of full-time employees and dedicated volunteers. The ED will oversee the operation, build relations with Muslim and broader community leaders, work with partner institutions, foster an environment of cooperation between communities, and is able to develop other leaders. The first job of the ED will be to work with the broader community to develop a strategic plan for the organization moving forward.
