AQIQA

As parents welcome their new born, a blessed way of showing gratitude to Allah for the gift that He granted them is to fulfil the sunnah and perform ‘Aqiqa, which is slaughtering sheep and sharing the meat with family and friends.

MAS Boston encourages our community to perform ‘Aqiqa and follow the Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet (may peace and blessings be with him). Hence, we offer this service.
Here are some options for parents who wish to avail themselves of this service:

  1. Order only the meat
  2. Order the meat and ask it to be distributed to local Muslim needy
  3. Order the meat and request to be cooked and packaged for ‘Aqiqa celebration
  4. Order the meat and request to be cooked and served in one of MAS Boston monthly community Iftars.

For more information about this service please contact Rasha Azoni @ rasha.azoni@masboston.org. Please put in the subject line ‘Aqiqa
