Outings

Each month, MAS Youth Teens holds a recreational outing where youth and youth leaders meet to spend time together and have fun.  The day always includes a short Islamic program to allow our youth to see that fun and spirituality can exist side-by-side.  These programs are open to all Muslims ages 12-18.    

Outing rules    

• No use of bad words    
• No Islamically-inappropriate mixing with the opposite sex    
• Listen to all Youth Leaders instructions    
• Do not show disrespect to other youth or Youth Leaders    
• Everyone must participate in all of the outing activities - the educational and the entertainment, unless they have received special permission from their Youth Leader/Amira/Amir 
• No CDs, walkmans, or electronic games are allowed at the outings. These will be confiscated if they are found    
• Everyone must stay in their group    
• MAS Youth reserves the right to ban youth and Youth Leaders from outings if their behavior warrants it
