What is MYB Teens College Prep?
 

MYB Teens College Prep is a committee started by the MAS Youth Boston Teens Division to help students around the Boston metropolitan area prepare for the college admissions process. As Muslims, it is our responsibility to use the resources around us to educate ourselves and improve our community. We feel that preparation for college is an important pillar towards fulfilling this responsibility. A college education provides individuals with the knowledge, experience, and connections needed to succeed in this world and in the hereafter.

MYB College Prep is here to help you get in to the college that is right for you. For starters, we try to give you the information and criteria with which to focus your career aspirations and potential schools. In addition to figuring out what you want to do with your education, planning to go out and get that education is another important step in the college and career process. MYB college prep gives you the experience of people who already had to prepare for college – people who can give you important advice on what to do during your freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior years in high school. Finally, when you’re a senior you need to get your applications done in order to attend the school of your choice. We are here to help with the application process, giving guidance on how to fill out the applications, deadlines, and managing all the paperwork that you’ll be faced with during the admissions process.
