MYB College Students' Retreat Experience

The best way to describe the MAS Youth College Students' two day retreats is that they are a shocking awakening to most students who attend regarding the role of Islam in their lives. The retreats are mini camps. They provide a loving yet disciplined environment in which the Muslim college students can taste a sweetness of Islam in a way that has usually never been experienced before. For most students who attend the retreat for the first time it is a pleasantly shocking experience - of another kind. The retreat focuses on spiritual relationship with Allah, mixed with intense brotherhood/sisterhood sessions. Most of all, there is the feeling of purpose, responsibility and belonging.

In the past two years, MYB retreats have occurred in February with the support and co-sponsorship of the Intercollegiate Boston Council.

The Spring Retreat will likely happen in Feb 13-15, 2004 (Presidents Day Weekend). To pre-register for the Feb. 2004 retreat, email college@masboston.org
