Ustadh Suhaib Webb
Ustadh Suhaib Webb was born in 1972 and raised in the State of
Oklahoma, USA. During his teens he became a Hip
Hop DJ and made many records with different
artists and bands. Suhaib Webb converted to
Islam at the age of 20. He completed his degree
in Elementary Education and served as Imam for
the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City. He
moved to the Bay Area and is currently in his
first year of studies at Al-Azhar University in
Cairo. While in the States brother Suhaib works
with MAS at many local and national levels.
Dr. Imad Bayoun
Dr. Imad Bayoun is a lecturer at the Islamic American University,
he has taught various courses at the IAU,
amongst these courses are Islamic Creed, The
Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and a series
on the Islamic History. He also serves as a
youth cordnitaor for MAS (Muslim American
Society) in southern California.
Dr. Imad received my B.S. & M.S. from the American University of
Beirut, and received his PhD in entomology from
Texas A&M University. Currently he is the
Quarantine Officer at the University of
California in Riverside.

Dr. Yasser Haddara
Yasser Haddara is currently the Chair of
the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) Youth
Division. He has been involved with a number of
efforts aimed at young Muslims including the
Muslim Youth Camp (MYC) in California and the
American Muslims Intent on Learning and Activism
(AMILA). Dr. Yasser holds a PhD in Electrical
Engineering from Stanford University and is
presently an Assistant Professor for Electrical
Engineering at McMaster University in Hamilton,
Ontario. He is marries and has two boys, Mustafa
and Mahmood.
Sh. Ali Suleiman Ali
Sheikh Ali Sulaiman Ali was born in Accra, the capital city of
Ghana. He spent much of his childhood in Ghana
with various shuyukh. His curriculum there
included Arabic sciences (such as grammar),
Tawheed, Fiqh, Zudhiyyat (Ascetism), and Seerah
of the Prophet (saw). After many years with his
teachers, Dr. Ali completed his curriculum and
moved on to Saudi Arabia where he enrolled in
Medina’s Islamic University. His curriculum
included Qur’an,Hadith, Fiqh, Usul al Fiqh,
Arabic Rhetoric, Comparative Religions, and many
more traditional Islamic sciences. Sheikh Ali
graduated with a B.A. in both Islamic Studies
and Arabic from Islamic University in the year
1979.
Upon graduation, Sheikh Ali traveled to America where he pursued
both an M.A. and a PhD in Islamic Studies at the
University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI). Before
receiving his doctorate, Sheikh Ali completed
his dissertation on Tafsir bil Ma’thur,
specifically dealing with the question of Hujja
(the question of authority or binding proof), a
question which had been virtually ignored
otherwise.
Sheikh Ali is the Director of Muslim Family Services, an ICNA
Relief division, in Detroit, Michigan.
