Assalamu Alaikum,

My dear beloved brother,

            I pray this reaches you in the best of states. If you are anything like me, your current state of iman and understanding is no where near where you think it should be nor is it anything close to what you would like it to be.  Often is the case in our frantic, hectic lives of work, school, family, and friends.  We often lack the understanding of Islam to know what to do, and of that which we do know we fall short of the discipline needed.  Should we have the understanding and disciple, we then are lacking the much needed committed brothers to be close with to make an effective and fruitful impact on our lives, and the atmosphere of our communities.

            Well this camp aims to do all that.  May Allah reward its organizers and reward those under whom the organizers learned.  This camp aims to take brothers and sisters and show them a formula for being successful implementers of Islam in our daily lives and in achieving the goals Allah (SWT) has put for us.  The road is not easy, so the make a monumental effort to attach us to Allah (SWT) – knowing that only through that we will succeed.

            It does not turn us into angels, nor into scholars.  All it does is give us a clear understanding of our goal in this life, sets us on the path to the goal, supplies us with the basic supplies needed, shows us what supplies we must get on the way, and gives us a map to get there.  That’s all this camp does, and I will be forever grateful to the brothers and sisters who organized this camp for doing so.
