It is with the greatest happiness and gratitude to God that we invite you to the upcoming inauguration of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC), Friday and Saturday June 26th to June 27th. The inauguration will mark the completion of Phase 1 of the 68,000 square foot mosque and cultural center, perhaps the largest on the east coast of America.

Boston is one of the cultural capitals of America, the home of much of America’s historical, religious, and academic legacy and it is entirely fitting that this nationally unique cultural landmark be added here, in this city of landmarks.
Details of the Inaugural Celebration:
Inaugural Prayer Breakfast with Major Interfaith, Muslim and Civic Leaders, Elected Officials.
Starts on Friday June 26th at 8:45 to 10:30am. It will take place at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center across from the new center at 1350 Tremont Street, Boston, MA.
Tickets go for $25 per person.
Our guest speaker will be Dean William Graham, Head of the Harvard Divinity School.
Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
A very colorful celebration, with invited guests including local and national Muslim leaders, embassies, elected officials. There will be a dove release, songs, and as soon as the ribbon is cut there will be the first public adhan from the minaret. Starts on Friday June 26th at 11:30am to 1:00pm in front of the new Islamic cultural center.
Grand Inaugural Dinner
Starts on Saturday June 27th at 6:15 to 8:45pm, tentatively, in the Marriott Hotel at Copley in Boston, MA. Our guest speakers will include congressman Keith Ellison, the first American Muslim elected to congress. We expect guests from the Muslim community, faith leaders and elected officials.
Tickets (to support the ISBCC): $100 (individual); $25 (per child under 13 to the children’s program); $300 (per group of five to the main program hall).
