Converts Rock!!

Though the dinner focused on converts, many others attended

Winners of the Trivia Contest were crowned the 'Kings of the Night'

On Saturday, March 28th, over a hundred people attended a dinner in celebration of converts and their special relationship to Islam. The people who attended played a rousing round of group trivia with both Islamic and contemporary themes. Posters were laid out around the room for people to record anonymously what they love about and find hard about becoming a Muslim. The intention was for converts to feel especially welcomed by a supportive community, and to grow those bonds that will lead to converts being able to identify, and, God willing, work on the unique issues that they face as a cooperative group.
